At this point in couples photography land here in Florida, Washington Oak Garden State Park is a cliché for a location, but in all honesty, the pedestal is well-deserved. The first few times photographing couples here, it was challenging. Anytime before, the weather was not forgiving. However, with Gabriella and Gracie, the sun was golden, and the park was quiet, but alive with green.
These two women are beautiful, kind, and angels to photograph. They were dressed in whites and blue sundresses. We headed towards the water and took close-ups of Gracie’s ring and of the girls sitting along the lake. We then walked through a path into their butterfly garden, where the sun was glimmering. It was a still, but romantic light.
Towards the end, I told the girls to “frolic” in the field with palm trees. We were laughing as I explained what I wanted out of the “frolicing.”
This morning was sweet and easy to capture. I’m looking forward to these two tying the knot!
